Milton Keynes Adult ADHD Support Group runs a monthly social meet-up for adults with ADHD - with or without a diagnosis - so that its members can get together to have a chat, swap experiences, and offer each other advice. Friends, partners and family who wish to learn more are also welcome.

The group meets up once a month, usually on the first Wednesday of the month, at MK11 Live Music Venue & Sports Bar, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes, from 6pm to 9pm.

You can come along and get involved with others, or just sit and listen to the conversations. There are no expectations, you decide what you are comfortable with.

We have previously had guest speakers such as James Brown from The ADHD Adults Podcast, and Laura Mears-Reynolds from ADHDAF Podcast. We are always looking for speakers who can help to improve the lives of our group's members by sharing their information and experiences. If you'd like to speak at a future meet-up, please get in touch.

The next MKAASG meet-up

Our next group meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 2nd July 2025, at MK11 Live Music Venue & Sports Bar, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes. We'll be there from 6pm - 9pm.

We've got another activity: ADHD Speed Dating. Sort of.....
Don't worry, we're not forcing you all to get flirty with eachother!

We're organising an activity to help everyone get to know other people in the group. I guess you could call it "speed chatting". You'll have 3 minutes to speak to someone. After those 3 minutes are up you'll be signalled to move to the next seat and meet a new person.

I'm sure there are many people reading this and thinking "oh my god, NOT A CHANCE!". That's absolutely fine. For those that want to opt out, no problem, you don't have to take part in this part of the evening. If you're thinking "mmmmm, maybe", we'll provide a helping hand to make it easier: chat topic jars.
There will be 3 jars:

1. Everyday questions
2. ADHD-related questions
3. The extreeeeeeeme jar

Each jar will have pieces of paper in, you can stick your hand in and pull one out, then use the question on it for the other person to answer.
The extreeeeeeeeme jar will probably be rude, sweary, and of very poor taste. You have been warned.

If you'd like to come along, let me know on the contact form below by clicking the 'Contact Us' button. Alternatively, there will be a post in the Facebook group that you can leave a message on.

Meeting new people and coming to a new location can cause some to feel nervous, but this doesn't have to stop you coming. If you use the contact form below to get in touch with me in advance, I can arrange to meet you outside the pub so that you don't have to walk in on your own. If there's any other steps that can be taken to help you attend, please let me know.

There's no point lying, I completely forgot I'm away on holiday on the date of the July social meet-up. ADHD has kicked my arse and reminded me who's the boss.

We will be back for August (I double checked my calendar this time!).

If you still want to be social, the first walking meet-up is still on for Tuesday 17th June!
